唐宁曾就读于北京大学数学系，后赴美学习经济学，学成后在华尔街DLJ投资银行从事金融、电信、媒体及高科技类企业的上市、发债和并购业务。2000 年回国，担任亚信科技战略投资和兼并收购总监。2006年，唐宁创立宜信公司，出任公司CEO。

Tang Ning had studied in the Department of Mathematics at Peking University, and after that he went to study economics in the United States. After graduation, he joined DLJ investment bank in Wall Street, engaged in the listing, bond issue and merger and acquisition of the financial, telecommunications, media and high-tech companies.In 2000, he returned to China and served as director of Asiainfo strategic investment and merger and acquisition. In 2006, Tang Ning established CreditEase and served as CEO.
