美国哥伦比亚大学社会学硕士及工商管理博士、硕士，美国普林斯顿大学公共事务与国际关系硕士（MPA）；中国社会科学院研究生院硕士；北京大学英语语言文学学士。

杨壮博士的研究涉及组织管理学、领导力等领域，他以西方管理学理论与方法为基础，结合中国的新现象、新问题，致力于跨国公司中国战略和中国企业国际化的相关研究，已在国外重要管理杂志上发表学术论文十多篇，并在国内主要商务期刊上开创跨文化管理和领导力专栏。教学方面，杨壮博士教授“领导者的自我认知与领导力”课程，多次被学员评为“最有收获的课程”、“最启发思考的课程”和“最实用的课程”；全面领导北大国家发展研究院的国际游学课程项目，至今已带领学员游历包括美国、德国、日本、台湾等在内的二十多个国家与地区，在对各国历史文化、政治制度、社会组织、经济金融等领域细致考察的基础上，深度反思其兴衰的理路及对中国企业、中国社会发展的启示。

Dr. Yang Zhuang's study involves organizational management, leadership and other fields, he put western management theory and methods as the base, combining with new phenomenon and new problems in China. Mr. Yang is committed to related research regarding to multinational enterprises' China strategy and internationalization of Chinese enterprises. He has published more than 10 articles in foreign key management magazines and opened cross-cultural management and leadership column in the domestic major business journals. In teaching field, Dr. Yang Zhuang's "Self-awareness of the leader and Leadership" has been awarded as "the most rewarding course "," the most thought-provoking course "and" the most practical course " by his students. Mr. Yang is in overall charge of overseas study course project of National School of Development at Peking University. He has guided students traveled more than 20 countries and regions including the United States, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, etc. In the base of detailed study on history and culture, political systems, social organizations, economic finance of various countries, he instructed students to in-depth think on the rise and fall of their approaches and implications for Chinese enterprises and social development.
