Li Yizhong
工业和信息化部原部长
1967年7月参加工作,历任工人、技术员、车间副主任、主任、副总工程师、厂长；1984年12月至1987年7月，任中国石油化工总公司齐鲁石化公司经理；1987年7月至1997年8月，任中国石油化工总公司副总经理、常务副总经理、党组副书记；1997年8月至1998年4月，任中国东联石化集团有限责任公司董事长、总经理、党组书记，兼任仪征化纤股份有限公司董事长；1998年4月任中国石油化工集团公司总经理、党组书记，2000年2月任中国石化股份有限公司董事长。2003年任国务院国有资产监督管理委员会党委书记、副主任。2005年2月任国家安全生产监督管理总局局长、党组书记。2008年3月在十一届全国人大一次会议上被任命为工业和信息化部部长。

Li Yizhong entered the work force in July 1967, then Mr. Li held various positions including worker, technician, deputy director of a workshop, director of a workshop, deputy chief engineer and factory director. From December 1984 to July 1987, he served as manager of of Qilu Petrochemical Company of Sinopec Corp. From July 1987 to August 1997, he worked as deputy general manager, executive deputy general manager and deputy secretary of party committee of Sinopec Corp. From August 1997 to April 1998, he was appointed as chairman, general manager and secretary of party committee of China Donglian Petrochemical Group Company, as well as Chairman of Yizheng Chemical Fibre Company. In April 1998, he was appointed as general manager and secretary of party committee of Sinopec Corp. In February 2000, he was appointed as chairman of Sinopec Corp. In 2003, Mr. Li was appoited as secretary of party committee and deputy director of State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. In February 2005, he was appointed as director and secretary of party committee of State Administration of Work Safety. In March 2008, he was appointed as Minister of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in the First Session of the Eleventh National People's Congress.
