In 1991, he graduated from the Buddhist Academy of China with a master’s degree. In 2007, he was granted the Honorary doctorate degree in Educational Administration by Chulalongkorn Buddhism University of Thailand. In 2011, he was granted doctor degree in Monk archmage by All India Bhikkhu Sangha. Now Master Xuecheng is Vice President of the Buddhist Association of China, Chief Vice President of Buddhist Academy of China, Abbot of Longquan Temple, Standing Committee member of CPPC, Secretary-General of China Committee on Religion and Peace, Deputy Dean of Institute for Advanced Study of the Humanities and Religion at Beijing Normal University.
Master Xuecheng is often invited to major colleges, social services, high-end forums and so on for academic lectures and cultural exchanges, promoting the positive Buddhist culture deep into society, inspired hearts.
