周天勇，北京科技大学博士生导师。1980年考入东北财经大学投资系，1984年毕业留校，1992年获东北财经大学经济学博士学位。1994年调入中央党校执教和从事研究至今。社会兼职有：中国城市发展研究会副理事长兼城市研究所所长，国家行政学院、北京科技大学、东北财政大学、中国社会科学院研究生院等教授，国家发改委价格咨询专家。其研究领域包括：社会主义经济理论、宏观经济、经济发展和增长、劳动经济、金融风险、城市经济、农业经济等。

Zhou Tianyong received a PhD in economics from Dongbei University of Finance in 1992 before transferring to Beijing and joining the Party School two years later. He served as Professor of School of Economics and Management, Beijing University of Science and Technology and part time professor at China's National School of Administration, the Chinese Academy of Science, and Dongbei University. He advises the National Development and Reform Commission, the government's macro-economic management agency. Zhou’s main field of research is in Communist economic theory macroeconomy, economic development, labor economics, financial risks, agricultural economy etc.
