龙永图简介_2014网易经济学家年会

2003年1月，博鳌亚洲论坛理事会在东京选举龙永图先生为博鳌亚洲论坛秘书长。2010年起担任博鳌亚洲论坛咨询委员会成员。1997年，龙永图先生被任命为对外贸易经济合作部副部长。1992年1月开始参加中国复关（GATT）谈判。1995年1月至2001年9月期间，他作为首席谈判代表，在第一线领导并最终成功结束了长达十五年的中国加入世贸组织的谈判。龙永图先生2003获中央电视台“年度经济人物”称号。龙永图先生长期从事对外贸易和国际经济合作工作，负责协调中国政府同联合国发展机构的经济合作，并出任联合国工业发展组织友好大使。2004年10月，获联合国秘书长安南颁发的联合国杰出贡献奖。龙永图先生曾担任复旦大学国际关系与公共事务学院院长、国际问题研究院院长，目前也是北京大学、清华大学、中国人民大学等高校的客座或兼职教授。他还应李嘉诚先生的邀请，出任汕头大学校董会成员。龙永图先生毕业于贵州大学英文系，1973年至1974年在伦敦经济学院研究生院学习，主修国际经济学。2006年7月，龙永图先生荣获伦敦经济学院名誉经济学博士学位。

Mr. Long Yongtu was elected by the Board of Directors on January 21, 2003 as the Secretary-General of Boao Forum for Asia, which aims at promoting the development of Asian countries through greater economic integration across the region. Prior to this post, He is member of the council of advisors, BOAO Forum for Asia from July 2010. Mr. Long as the Vice Minister and Chief Representative for Trade Negotiations of Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation，led China's negotiations for ten years to join the WTO in 2001. To mark this, Mr. Long was awarded the Man of the Year in Economics by China Central TV in 2003. Mr. Long worked for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in New York and DPRK for years and is now a Goodwill Ambassador to the UN Industrial Development Organization（UNIDO）. In 2004, he received the Award of Excellence by UN Secretary General Mr. Kofi Annan, for his outstanding contribution to UN’s partnership with China and promoting UN values. Apart from his official duties, Mr. Long was the Dean of School of International Relations and Public Affairs, Fudan University. He is visiting professor of many renowned Chinese Academic Institutions, including the Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University, Mr. Long did his post graduate study in the London School of Economics in the early 70’s and holds a BA Degree of British and American Literature from Guizhou University. In July, 2006, Mr. Long was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Science (Economics) by London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
