贺力平现任北京师范大学经济与工商管理学院教授，金融系主任。近年来主要兼职有：中国社会科学院世界经济与政治研究所学术委员会委员，中国经济体制改革研究基金会国民经济研究所兼职研究员，复旦大学经济世界研究中心兼职研究员。

贺力平博士现在是中国世界经济学会常务理事，中国金融学会理事，中国国际金融学会常务理事，中国城市金融学会学术委员会委员。

主要教育与工作经历：

1978年考入四川财经学院（现名西南财经大学）政治经济学系;1982年毕业并留校任助教。

1984年考入中国社会科学院研究生院世界经济与政治系，1987年获硕士学位。

1987-1989年任中国金融学院国际金融系讲师，国际金融教研室副主任。

1989年前往英国剑桥大学国际研究中心与经济系做访问学者及研究生。

1996年获伦敦大学亚非学院经济学博士学位。1997年初返回中国金融学院任教。

2001年起任北京师范大学经济学院教授，金融系主任。

2002-2003年作为富布莱特学者访问纽约哥伦比亚大学商学院。

He Liping now serves as Dean in Department of Finance and professor in School of Economics and Business Administration, Beijing Normal University. In recent years, he also took part time jobs as member of Academic Committee of World Economics and Politics Institute in CASS, researcher in National Economic Research Institute of China Society of Economic Reform (CSER), and researcher in World Economics Research Center of Fudan University. Doctor He Liping now is an Executive Director in China Society of World Economics (CSWE), Director of China Finance Society, Executive Director in China International Finance Society, and member of Academic Committee of China Urban Financial Society.

Educational Background and Working Experience :

Admitted into Sichuan Institute of Finance and Economics (Now Southwestern University of Finance and Economics) in 1978 and graduated and stayed on as a assistant in 1982.

Admitted into the Major of World Economics and Politics in CASS Graduate School in 1984 and acquired master degree in 1987.

Served as a lecturer in China Institute of Finance and Deputy Director of International Finance Department from 1987 to1989.

A visiting scholar and graduate student in the Department of International Research Center and Economics, University of Cambridge, in 1989.

Acquired his Doctor Degree in Economics in the School of Oriental and African Study (SOAS), University of London, in 1996 and started to teach in China Institute of Finance at the early of 1997.

Served as professor in School of Economics and Business Administration and Dean in Department of Finance, Beijing Normal University, since 2001.Visited the Business School of Columbia University as a Fulbright Scholar from 2002 to 2003.
