2006-2008: Manager of China Research of Barclays Capital, in charge of China (including Hong Kong) macroeconomics and financial market research. Before that, Mr. Peng has served in the Hong Kong Financial Management Bureau for ten years. During that time, Mr. Peng was the Manager of the Departments of Economic Research and Inner China Affairs, in charge of economic, financial research and inner China financial cooperation.
1993-1998: Economist of Asia-Pacific Department of IMF, in charge of economic research of emerging nations and policy consultation. Mr. Peng has earned both his PhD degree in Economics and Master degree in Monetary Finance from the University of Birmingham. He has earned a Bachelor degree in Economics from Nankai University. He also has studied in the Graduate School of the People's Bank of China as a Master student.
