Dr. Zhaofeng Xue is Research Fellow and Co-Director of the Institute for Law and Economics, National School of Development, Peking University. Dr. Xue received his Ph.D. in economics from George Mason University and was a postdoctoral fellow at Northwestern University School of Law. His major fields of interest are antitrust law, law and economics, and political economy. Dr. Xue previously lectured on law and economics at George Mason. Since 1998 Dr. Xue has become a known commentator in China through hundreds of articles and two books addressing many topics from the perspective of classical liberalism. He also received the 2006 “Youth of the Year” award by Nanfang People Magazine, for his incisive commentaries and tireless effort in introducing the economic way of thinking to Chinese readers.
